Dr Spiros Sirmakessis cooperates with CTI since 1992. Today, he works in Research Unit 5 as Technical Coordinator and Project Manager. He has worked in 17 research and development projects since 1992. Most of these projects were funded by national and EU community resources. Dr Spiros Sirmakessis graduated from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras in 1992 and he finished his PhD Thesis in 1997. His PhD Thesis is in the area of computational geometry and multi-dimensional data structures. His reseach interests comprise computational geometry, educational software and internet technologies. He has already published 35 papers in national and international conferences and journals.
