Professor of Computer Science at Linköping University 1988. Research interests mainly in knowledge-based systems, human-computer interaction, software engineering and database technology. Research director at the Santa Anna IT Research Institute since 1999 and manager for the e-Society research program, with a special emphasis on public information services. Elected member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences 1997 and deputy chairman for Section XII Information Technology from 2006.
