Professor emeritus and international liaison to the interdisciplinary research program on Public Information Systems, Mid Sweden University. He has previously held professorial positions in Athens (OH/USA), Cincinnati (OH/USA), Kyoto (Japan), Loughborough (UK), Luleå (Sweden), Madison (Wisconsin/USA), and Tsukuba (Japan). His C.V. lists some 250 publications, a common dominator of which is the tripartite interaction human-organisation-technology.
